Dorothea, Founder of Inclusivation

Dorothea is a true champion of equality.

Dorothea is a Fellow of the Institute of Equality and Diversity Practitioners, a Member of Brunel University’s Institute of Communities Advisory Board and was selected as a UN UK Women Delegate CSW68 2024.

As an equality champion, Dorothea combines a passion for true societal transformation and culture change with a love of people.

She grew up on a North West London council estate and was the first in her family to go to university. Having completed a social studies degree, Dorothea began her career in youth and community work, whilst completing an MA in Violence Against Women.

Dorothea worked at the UK’s longest running anti racism charity as part of a pilot project from the Mayor of London, looking at hate crime across the capital. She then became the first woman Co-director of the charity and led on race and religious hate crime across London and the UK.

In 2020 Dorothea was the only woman in a team headhunted to conduct a gender and race audit into the Institute of Contemporary Arts. She was then appointed as the first ever Diversity, Equity, Inclusion and Belonging Lead at the Institute of Hospitality.

In 2022 Dorothea was diagnosed with ADHD then ASD and prior to that OCD. Following these diagnoses, Inclusivation was born.
